The goal of the committee is to create a public park that honors those men and women from the Amador County Supervisorial
District 5 who have provided military service to our country. At the same time, the committee seeks to build a park that
will be used by all members of our community. Please join the volunteer committee for this meeting and voice your opinions
about the proposed park enhancements.
About the Project
Partnering with the City of Plymouth and the Amador County Veterans Association, the Rotary Club of Plymouth-Foothills
undertook a Phase One renovation and restoration of the Plymouth Veterans Park, including signage, flag pole lighting,
attractive landscaped entryway, an operational irrigation system and more.
It has been proposed that the new phase of work will add monuments with the names of all those District Five men and
women who served in the military, and a gardened path with stations describing each service branch. Additional ideas for
the park include adding seating areas, picnic tables, shade trees, restrooms, and exercise stations for all ages.
